Who doesn’t consume coffee nowadays ? Coffee has become more than just a drink or complementary items. For some people, It has turned into primary needs, a lifestyle, a liquid of sanity.
Still with the Indonesia Coffee culture, from Bandung let’s move to Jakarta, The Capital city !! Coffee culture in Jakarta is on a whole different level, at least 1 coffee business born every now and then here in Jakarta and Its surrounded area (Jabodetabek). One of that newborn coffee business is Asagao coffee house.
Located on Ruko Graha Boulevard A No.9, Summarecon Gading Serpong, Kec. Tangerang, Banten. Asagao Coffee House is a coffee shop that served coffee and bites with a unique serving method and an infuse of Japanese culture (which make me curious).
This coffee shop has an Industrial-minimalist concept with only an indoor area that mostly decorated in black, beige and greyish tone. Its venue is considered small but provides enough private space for each of Its customers.
On this coffee shop, we decided to order: Kori Kohi, Kuniko (Milk, honey, and single shot espresso) and Totoro black beans pie. I don’t really like the Kori Kohi It has an eccentric taste, but their Kuniko is pretty good, quite balanced in flavour. As for the Totoro black beans pie…the pie crust is a bit too thick. Overall experience is good, even though It doesn’t really deliver a strong and memorable taste, but enough to satisfied your hunger and curiosity.
I heard their Matcha Latte and Doughnut are worth a try, maybe I’ll try It next time I visit this place. Overall I enjoy my visit here, Food and drinks didn’t really take that long to serve, service is good, and the venue is comfortable.
